October's overnight was a short campout and fun hike in the Angeles National Forest. We packed in 6 miles and set-up camp. The bear tracks spotted on the way in insured that we took extra care with our food storage and trash disposal - luckily, we didn't see or hear any bears. On Sunday we took a different way back to the trailhead and saved a half-mile. One of the major wildfires at that time was visible in the distance and downwind.
