This was the "final exam" for 8 Scouts. 7 brave adults accompanied them along the Santa Ana River from Anaheim to the Ocean and back. We had two flats along the ride, including a surprise meeting with a wheel-bending pothole. The pace was moderate and nobody complained or had trouble completing the course in well under the 8-hours required.

Thanks again to our "chase team" of Stephen and Daniela. They carried water, lunch and were prepared to give our team transport in the event of trouble. They were also prepared with the only camera...
